Flashfit in Action

April has been an exciting month for Team Flashfit. We are gearing up to roll out our grant program to 50 schools across the country, developing new Fitsets, and even making an appearance on Central Texas’ KVUE TV news.

Flashfit in the News

Local ABC affiliate, KVUE, was at Crockett Elementary in San Marcos on April 18th to highlight the positive impact the Flashfit partnership is having on students and teachers alike.

Crockett Principal Dr. Keith Cunningham said he wanted to get kids moving, and agreed to launch a pilot program. “Especially these younger kids, they can only maintain focus for so long before you have to kind of shift what you’re doing, said Cunningham. “I as an adult can’t sit still for more than X amount of time. Kids certainly can’t do it, and so it’s just important. Learning theory shows that, we just know that kids need to move more.”
